Can you epoxy over concrete with multiple cracks?

Yes, in most cases. Each crack is evaluated individually during prep. Hairline and stable cracks are filled and ground smooth, while wider or actively moving cracks may need additional repair before coating.

Do cracks come back after an epoxy coating is applied?

Properly repaired stable cracks rarely reopen under a coating. Actively moving cracks, caused by settling or structural shifting, can resurface over time regardless of the coating, which is why identifying the cause matters before installation.

How much does crack repair add to the cost of an epoxy floor?

It depends on the number, size, and type of cracks. Minor hairline cracks are typically included as part of standard prep. More extensive repair work is priced based on what the slab actually needs, which is why an on-site estimate gives a more accurate number than a quote based on square footage alone.
